PVA Adds Fume Filtration Capabilities

PVA is pleased to introduce the new FX800 Fume Filtration System. image

The FX800 protects employees and the environment by extracting and filtering harmful vapors and fumes associated with conformal coating and fluid dispensing processes.

This budget friendly system provides savings through many avenues. It is plug and play, does not requiring ducting, and has special features such as adjustable airflow (speed control), "Flow Control" and high performance brushless motors.

The system is easily installed in minutes and by extracting and filtering the vapors, the need to vent to the outside is eliminated, as are the costs associated with the expensive ducting, drilling and contractors. Because ducting isn't required, relocation of the system is easy and downtime is minimized.

Efficient, quiet operation is provided by dual high performance, continuous run, brushless motors, while filtration is kept constant with “Flow Control” that automatically increases the speed of the motor as the filter blocks, ensuring fumes are captured effectively throughout the life of the filter. Together, these features add up to lower energy consumption.

The user sets the required airflow (speed control) for the process allowing the motor to automatically speed up or slow down until the “Actual” airflow equals the “Required” airflow. With the adjustable speed control, the motor does not have to constantly run at 100%, therefore, the FX800 is energy efficient, runs quieter and the filters last longer.

The FX800 Fume Filtration System expands PVA's product line, which encompasses selective coating, surface mount adhesives, automated dispensing, meter mix dispensing, manual dispensing and custom automation. "We are always looking for ways to assist our customers," said Frank Hart, Global Sales and Marketing Manager. "Having an integrated solution provides our customers a quicker and more economical path to getting their process up and running."
